Calendar Availability Sync

Terms of Use

Effective October 29, 2026 (Pacific Time)

Personal-use companion

Calendar Availability Sync is a Windows desktop companion for an owner-controlled installation. These pages describe the application; they do not offer a public account, paid subscription, managed synchronization service or service-level commitment.

Authorization and acceptable use

Use the companion only with calendars and accounts you are authorized to access and automate. You remain responsible for complying with your account providers' terms and any employer or organization rules governing local automation, calendar access and data transfers. Technical access does not constitute a policy exception.

Review the requested Google permissions and calendar selections before authorization. The application uses classic Outlook's existing signed-in session. It is not intended to bypass sign-in, permission, device-management or security controls.

Calendar changes

When writes are explicitly enabled, the application creates and manages private availability blocks in configured calendars. Original source events remain authoritative. Editing an application-generated block is not a way to edit its source event; the block may be repaired or replaced from source availability.

Review dry-run results before enabling writes or startup. Preserve the installation's ownership configuration and avoid simultaneous conflicting installations. Stopping or removing the companion does not automatically delete existing blocks.

Reliability and responsibility

The companion requires classic Outlook, the intended logged-in Windows session, working connectivity and valid provider authorization. New Outlook, logged-off sessions and unattended Windows-service execution are not supported. Provider or device changes can interrupt operation, and outages can leave stale availability.

Busy blocks do not prevent someone from issuing an invitation. Verify important availability directly and do not rely on this companion as the sole protection for critical commitments. The owner is responsible for monitoring synchronization health, reviewing changes and resolving conflicts.

The application and information are provided as is, without a warranty of uninterrupted, complete or error-free operation, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing here limits rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow to be limited.

Privacy, providers and contact

Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy. Google, Microsoft and any mailbox or hosting providers apply their own terms to their services. Calendar Availability Sync is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or Microsoft.

Contact the installation owner through the support email on the application's Google consent screen for installation questions. These terms may be updated with a revised effective date. Stop the companion if you no longer want it to operate.
